Confindustria Bulgaria nasce nell’aprile del 2000 con il nome di Comitato Consultivo dell’Imprenditoria Italiana in Bulgaria, con l’obiettivo di favorire la cooperazione economica tra l’Italia e la Bulgaria, facendosi portavoce delle opportunità per le imprese italiane in Bulgaria e supportando l’attività dei propri membri.
Negli anni, l’associazione è cresciuta nel numero dei membri ed ha sviluppato la propria rete di attivita’ e servizi. Attualmente Confindustria Bulgaria oltre 300 imprese. Dal 25 marzo 2010 l’associazione è rappresentanza internazionale di Confindustria.
Fanno parte di Confindustria Bulgaria sia i grandi gruppi come Unicredit Bulbank, Generali, Enel, Devnya Cement – Italcementi, Mapei, sia le medie, piccole e micro imprese italiane che hanno deciso di operare in Bulgaria.
Più specificamente l’associazione si compone di un 10.5% di Grandi Imprese, un 15% di Medie Imprese e un 68% di Piccole e Micro Imprese e 6.5% di soci aggregati.
Il 7% degli associati opera nel Primario, il 40% nel Secondario e il 53% nel Terziario.
In totale Confindustria Bulgaria conta un’attività imprenditoriale che vale complessivamente 2 miliardi di euro di investimenti diretti dai primi anni ’90 ad oggi e circa 25 000 posti di lavoro. Questi dati rendono l’Italia il secondo partner commerciale della Bulgaria.
Punto di riferimento dell’imprenditoria italiana presente in Bulgaria, l’associazione offre ai propri membri un supporto concreto alle loro attività (ricerca partner e contatti, prenotazioni e convenzioni, assistenza presso le istituzioni bulgare, contatti con imprese italiani e con imprese ed istituzioni dell’area balcanica), una newsletter quotidiana in lingua italiana sulla Bulgaria, ed incontri e seminari sui temi più rilevanti dell’economia bulgara.

Confindustria Bulgaria was born in the April of 2000 with the name of the Advisory Committee of the Italian business community in Bulgaria, with the purpose to foster economic cooperation between Italy and Bulgaria, advertising the opportunities for Italian companies in Bulgaria and supporting the activities of its own members.
During the years, the association has grown in numbers and has developed its own network of activities and services. Today Confindustria Bulgaria has more than 300 associated companies. Since the 25th of March 2010 the association is an international representation of Confindustria.
Both great group such as Unicredit Bulbank, Generali, Enel, Devnya Cement – Italcementi, Mapei, and small, medium and micro Italian enterprises that have decided to operate in Bulgaria are part of Confindustria Bulgaria.
More specifically the association is formed by 10.5% of big companies, 15% of medium companies, 68% of small and micro companies and 6.5% of aggregated members.

A reference point of the Italian business community present in Bulgaria, the association offers to its members a practical support for their activities (partner research and contacts, bookings and conventions, assistance with the Bulgarian authorities, contacts with the Italian companies and with companies and institutions in the Balkan area), a daily newsletter in Italian on Bulgaria, meeting and seminars on the most relevant themes of the Bulgarian economy.
